About Us
At American Mission Field, we believe our witness can’t be contained within the walls of a church building. Faith was never meant to be something we practice only on Sundays — it’s meant to shape how we live every day.
It belongs at the kitchen table.
On the front porch.
In the hard conversations happening in communities across this country.
We believe the Gospel calls us outward — into our neighborhoods, our workplaces, our schools, and our civic life. It calls us to love our neighbors in real, tangible ways. It calls us to show up with humility when tensions rise, with compassion when people are hurting, and with courage when truth needs to be spoken.
At American Mission Field, we are committed to living out a faith that is both deeply rooted and actively engaged. Our foundation is the heart of the Gospel — love, service, justice, and hope. From that foundation, we seek the common good in every space we enter.
We believe faith should be visible not in volume, but in character.
Not in slogans, but in service.
Not in isolation, but in community.
This is our mission field.
And it starts right where we are.
Statement of Faith
We believe in one God — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — who has always been on the move, going toward people rather than waiting to be found. We follow Jesus Christ, who said to his people, "As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you." We believe the Holy Spirit goes ahead of us into every neighborhood, every conversation, and every community we enter.
We believe:
-
The Bible is our guide for faith, life, and mission
-
Every person — in every zip code — is made in the image of God and worth reaching
-
The Church exists to go, not just to gather
-
Every follower of Jesus is sent, not just the professionals
-
America is a mission field, and we are called into it
We are a community of Christians who believe the Gospel travels — and so should we.
